We encourage our Donors and Ambassadors to take up the responsibilities of sponsoring and catering to the educational needs of a child of their choice. Our job is to be the connector between the Donor and the Recipient while also giving periodic reports of the child’s progress to the Donor.
This programme is usually for organizations, big corporations and high net worth individuals who want to cater to the needs of a school through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or Philanthropic budget. These needs may range from classroom renovation, construction of new buildings within the school, provision of amenities, teacher training programmes, educational equipments etc. Our role is to receive the funds and help put them into the most the use with the highest possible social impact.
Our medical outreaches is designed in a way to provide sound health interventions and education to children living in highly impoverished environments. Our sole aim is to assist to keep these children in good health so they can be physically fit to withstand the rigours of their academic pursuits. We partner with government health ministries and private primary health care service providers to make our medical outreaches possible.
We believe one of the best ways to improve education is to invest in Classroom Teachers through specialized Teacher Training Programs. At PIRF, through our rich network of partners who engage in educational management and teacher capacity development programmes, we offer schools and institutions the opportunity to build capacity in such areas as Classroom Management, Talent Management, School Administration, Parent Management, Connected Learning, Digital Citizenship, Students’ Evaluation etc.
At PIRF, we believe there are times when we need to advocate for the rights of children from all levels of socio-economic backgrounds and situations to basic education. In our focus areas of work, we will initiate or join, where necessary, the struggle to hold government ministries and public servants to their responsibilities towards the communities they have been institutited/appointed to serve.
